Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith in Varanasi City

Kashi Vidyapith was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi during the Non-Cooperation movement of the freedom struggle,on the promising juncture of Basant Panchami on 10 February 1921.The Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith has established to improve educational ,cultural & political goal of preindependence India.The early period of this institute pulsated with the National freedom thrash about.The instruction faculty of this institution provided original scope to the notion and pressure group of Indian communism.Babu shiva prasad  is seeing an educational institute in Japan during his appointment to that country in 1913 to1914,his drew inspiration to found an institution in India, free from goverment aid or intrusion.The first vice-chancellor was mahatma Gandhi kashi Vidyapith bharat ratna Dr Bhagwan Das.Sampurnanand Sanskrit vishwavidyalaya  is an institute of superior learning in Sanskrit allied areas and is placed in Benares which is also known as Varanasi(u.p).
