Bharatmata Temple Varanasi City

The bharatmata temple was  inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936 and houses one perfect liberation maps of India carved out of marble.The Bharatmata Temple was gifted by shri Durga Prasad Khatri and the nationalists Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta (Barat Ratana )  leading numismatists and antiquarians. The bharatmata temple is located about 3 km west of Godaulia, outside the old city. It is situated in the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth campus.It is also near to varanasi cant railway station
